Give the World’s Best Present

The ideal present should be something to be treasured, prompting happy memories of the occasion and the gift giver every time it’s used.

Finding such a gift can be easier said than done, especially when buying for someone who seemingly has everything they need and you’re rightly reluctant to buy something just for the sake of it.

Give the gift of infinite customisation

We’ve spent the past five years perfecting our Custom Knife Gift Box to be what we believe to be quite possibly the best present money can buy.

It also makes an ideal gift if you’re unsure which of our knives to choose or need a gift in a hurry.

A Custom Knife Gift Box gives your loved one the opportunity to design their very own perfect knife from our extensive range of blades. Our online knife configurator makes it fun and easy for them to choose from 44,380 possible options, whilst complimentary blade engraving ensures their finished knife will be absolutely unique to them.

We then start work on making their knife using a combination of traditional handcrafting techniques and innovative aerospace precision equipment, with every knife taking over 50 hours to craft.

The finished result is a knife unique to them, guaranteed for life and independently tested to be in the top 2.5% of knives in the world. Our knives are designed to bring joy every time they’re used.

The handsome black Richlite gift box is in itself a small feat of engineering, opening to reveal a pair of chopping boards – the ideal cutting surface for their new knife.

Gift boxes start from £300 for a small custom knife invitation and go up to £1050 for a set of three knives – or email us if you have a particular value in mind.

We’ll send your Gift Box for next day delivery at no additional charge*, making it an ideal last minute present.

The Ultimate Knife Gift

Give them the chance to design their own knife – from scratch

A Bespoke Knife Gift is the ideal present for the professional chef or ambitious amateur cook – or anyone passionate about design. Working with our expert knife makers, they’ll be able to design their own knife completely from scratch, before we make an acrylic mockup of their blade to ensure the dimensions and proportions match their expectations. We then go on to make a fully functional steel prototype knife for them to test to make sure every aspect is perfect. Only then do we proceed to make their finished knife to their exact specification and using whichever handle materials they prefer. The finished knife is designed completely for them and will fit them like a glove.

Our custom knives are pretty much all made to order and take time to make – 3-4 weeks to be precise.

For those times you need a gift in a hurry, we keep a small selection of our favourites and one-off designs made and ready to engrave and post out for next day delivery.

All our knives are presented in our signature, keepsake Savernake capsules which not only look great but also make a useful knife storage solution for anyone who doesn’t yet own a knife rack or block.

“Can I express my sincere admiration for the quality of the knife and for the truly exceptional packaging. How clever to package the knife in a what can only described as a knife block. I suppose the greatest compliment is that the knife is an absolute pleasure to handle, its balance and weighting exemplary, its blade razor sharp and it accurately reflects what I had in mind.”

– Zoltan Sipos, Savernake Knife Owner, May 2020
