Sometimes a gnarly squash or a large flank of grass-fed mutton looks at you with a glint of a challenge in its metaphorical eye. Grasp this compact, amazingly dextrous cleaver in your hand and show flora and fauna alike who’s boss.We first made a compact cleaver to deal with the task of a lobster (which is also eminent BBQ fodder) and discovered that there’s a lot to be said for a knife that likes it rough as well as smooth. The hollow-ground blade means that you can hold the blade in a pincer grip and work with extra-ordinary delicacy, or slide back and grip the Shark’s Gill handle and go to town. There’s nothing else like it out there – plenty of clobber monsters and plenty of dextrous slicers, but this cleaver is uniquely both.
