Every Savernake knife guard is custom-made to fit your knife perfectly. Using the precise specifications of your blade, we’ll create a snug, rigid casing that fits like a glove. Concealed magnets along the edges mean that once your knife is locked in there is no risk of it sliding out. Created from Richlite, a tough, sustainable material made from layers of compressed, resin-stabilised recycled paper, this guard is designed to last the lifespan of your blade. If desired, we can also create a matching handle for your knife.
Dulling through contact with other knives and utensils is one of the main reasons knives lose their sharpness. This knife guard will keep it sharper for longer and extend the overall lifetime of your knife.

To ensure the safety and well being of our small team of knife makers we have implemented additional measures in our workshop to enable us to continue to make custom knives and accessories. The need for us to minimise the number of people in any one area of the workshop at any given time – plus ensuring all knives are sanitised prior to posting – means that our average lead time is currently around 4 to 6 weeks.
