The Original Savernake Outdoor Knife
Created back at the dawn of time (well, 2018) the Field Utility was our first ever outdoor knife, design by Richy and Laurie to be the ultimate robust workhorse. We’ve refined the design over the years, but his remains a blade that will serve you well in a pinch and whose contoured and fitted handle positively scoffs at mud and rain.
As with all our outdoor knives, the Field Utility has a slightly concave blade for improved cutting prowess. It is accompanied by a custom leather sheath made by Tanner Bates that is wearable both low and high on the hip, or which can be stripped down to act more as a blade protector for those who keep their knives in their pocket or glove compartment.

Gift Cards, Maker’s Choice and Ready Made Knives are all despatched on the same day if ordered before 2pm. Otherwise they are send out the following business day.
Custom Knives
We aim to despatch all orders within 3-4 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design and the materials we use.
All orders will be delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed in specially-designed tubular Savernake packaging. This delivery method is insured and requires a signature from the recipient.

We charge £40 flat rate delivery for delivery worldwide
