The Story
We have a theory about ravens: they are more interesting than they are given credit for. Sociable, clever, adaptable, and in considerable numbers in the trees outside the workshop in autumn when they make an extraordinary amount of noise about nothing in particular. We were watching the rookery one afternoon, half-listening, and the name arrived. It suits the knife well: precise, a little unconventional, and more useful in more situations than you might expect.
Performance

The Raven’s Claw is hardened in-house to 60 HRC using a nitrogen atmosphere process, taking the steel from 1080°C to -75°C in a controlled cycle that maximises carbide formation, edge stability and corrosion resistance. The blade is ground to a unique concave profile – a geometry that reduces drag and improves slicing performance without sacrificing rigidity. Each knife is sharpened to 15 degrees per side.
