Our classic 5″ Boner given a Limited Edition make-over in collaboration with the Wm Brown project. As the man himself would have it:

Besides a chef knife and a fillet knife the boning knife is a key player in my kitchen arsenal. Perfect for breaking down primal cuts like a leg of lamb or a rib roast to wild game like venison, duck and woodcock. I much prefer having a boning knife sheathed on my hip than a standard sportsman lock blade for processing game. It is a very diverse cooking tool in the kitchen or fireside.

Originally conceived – and mostly still employed – as a traditional butcher’s boning knife, the 5″ Boner is a hugely versatile knife. With a sure and comfortable grip, here enhanced by English Yew orginally from a graveyard in north Hampshire, the blade is just as happy in the great outdoors assisting those who enjoy the sporting life as it is as being an absolutely spot-on for any cooking task that requires precision and dexterity.
